The intent of this service is to notify students, parents and the general public by text message on their cell phone of important Chester Yellow Jacket sports scores and CHS school and sports cancellations because of the weather. This is an free, opt-in service provided by Yellow Jacket Country.

You can still sign up for the service, even if you don't have a cell phone. We are offering an email service that would allow you to receive the same messages by email.

While there is no direct cost for signing up for this service, you may be charged a text message fee by your cell phone provider. Please check your cell phone plan to understand the costs you may incur using this service.

To sign up for the service, you can text the word "STINGER" to 84483 or click HERE and signup on line for either text messages or email notifications. If you use an automatic signature when you send a text message, you should turn it off before sending the request on your cell phone. If the request is successful, you will receive a return confirmation text message.

To stop receiving the messages, send the word "STOP" to 84483.
