Yellow Jacket basketball team to host canned Food Drive this Saturday

With a big crowd expected for Saturday night's home game, the Chester Yellow Jacket boys' basketball teams will be hosting a canned food drive to help out the area food pantries.
Chester Yellow Jacket varsity boys basketball coach Brad Norman and the Yellow Jacket basketball players are asking fans attending the game Saturday night against Trico to bring canned good items which will be collected at the entrance to Daniel Colbert Memorial Gym.
Those donating food items will have a chance to win a $50 gift card to Wal-Mart.
Coach Norman says the drawing for the gift card will be at halftime of the varsity game.
The JV game tips at 6:15pm Saturday night against the Pioneers while the varsity game is expected to start around 7:45pm.
KSGM AM 980 will broadcast the varsity game live Saturday night with Jacket GameNight pregame at 7:35pm.
