Boys Basketball Regional Pairings released by Illinois High School Association

The Road to Peoria will begin in Pinckneyville for the Chester Yellow Jackets and they will meet an old River to River Mississippi Division conference foe in the first round.
The Illinois High School Association released the pairings and game times Friday for the Pinckneyville Boys Class 2A Regional Tournament.
The Chester Yellow Jackets, who are the sixth seed in the six-team regional, will meet Nashville's Hornets, the third seed, on Monday, February 20 at 8:10pm inside Duster Thomas Gym at Pinckneyville.
The earlier game that night will feature fourth seed Red Bud meeting fifth seed Sparta at 6pm.
The winner of the Red Bud-Sparta game will play top-seed Pinckneyville on Wednesday, February 22 at 6pm while the winner of the Chester-Nashville game will play second seed Trico on the same night at 8:10pm.
The championship game is set for 7:30pm on Friday, February 24. The winner advances to the Eldorado Sectional and will meet the winner of the Fairfield Regional whose top seed is Olney (East Richland).
