6th annual ChesterYellowJackets.com Freshmen Boys Tourney tips off Wednesday

The sixth annual ChesterYellowJackets.com Freshmen Boys Basketball Tournament will tip off next Wednesday night inside Daniel Colbert Gym.
Chester High School Athletic Director Mike Coffey has announced the tournament has expanded to six teams this year. In addition to Chester, the other five schools in the tournament include Murphysboro, Waterloo, Perryville, MO, Trico and Steeleville.
The six teams have been divided into two pools. Pool "A" consists of Murphysboro, Waterloo and Perryville, MO. Pool "B" features Steeleville, Trico and the host Yellow Jackets.
Action begins on Wednesday, February 15 as Murphysboro will play Waterloo at 5:15pm followed by Chester and Trico at 6:30pm. The nightcap features Perryville, MO battling Murphysboro at 7:45pm.
On Thursday, February 16, Trico will play Steeleville at 5:15pm followed by Perryville, MO and Waterloo at 6:30pm. The final game of pool play features Chester and Steeleville at 7:45pm.
The finals are set for Saturday, February 18. The fifth place game will tip at 10am followed by the third place game at 11:30am. The championship game is set for 1pm.
