Lady Yellow Jackets to open post-season against Red Bud at Pinckneyville

The Illinois High School Association released the regional pairings and game times for next month's Pinckneyville Class 2A Girls Basketball Regional.
The Lady Yellow Jackets, who are the sixth seed in the six-team regional, will begin the post-season on Monday, February 6 against the Red Bud Lady Musketeers who are the third seed. The game will tip at 8:05pm at Pinckneyville's Duster Thomas Gymnasium.
The other opening round game will begin the same night at 6pm and will feature the host Lady Panthers, the fourth seed, taking on fifth-seed Sparta.
The winner of the Pinckneyville-Sparta matchup will meet top seed Nashville on Tuesday, February 7 at 6pm while the winner of the Red Bud-Chester game will meet second seed Freeburg the same night at 8:10pm.
The championship game is set for Thursday, February 9 at 7:30pm. The winner advances to the Sesser Valier Sectional where they will play the winner of the Herrin Regional.
